The Cadastral Mapping Project is actually to transform the old Patwar system into the modernized digital online system.

Prime minister Imran Khan on Wednesday launched a cadastral mapping project and digitization of land records to deal with tampering of land records, land grabbing, and encroachment of state land across the country.

He said that digitalization would help resolves the common man’s problem. Adding further he told at the ceremony that this project would have two phases. One will cover Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi’s digitalization and will be completed by this November while the other phase will consist of digitalization of other urban areas.
